Other cool guns I own:

From left to right you see a SIG SG 543, a STEYR AUG A1 and a BUSHMASTER XM15-M4 LEO (Law Enforcement Officer) modell.
The last one is restricted to Government use only, but it doesn't apply to me as I am a norwegian resident.
They are all in the 5.56x45NATO caliber.

If you are familiar with the Computer game "Half Life-Counter Strike" you will probably have seen the wrongly animated loading sequence of the M4 Carbine.
This is proper loading procedure of the weapon. The charging handle is IRL (IN Real Life) placed above the forward-assist button which is pulled on in the game.

The easy way of telling that these guns are modified for civilian use is the "cutting off" of the bayonett-lug.
And then it's ok for me to own them (dont ask me why).

I've mounted a finnish BR Reflex sound suppressor on the M4, and it works great. The report of the sound is reduced to the level of a 22LR beeing fired.

Below is the Belgian FN FAL G1 made for the German army. Standard infantry issue rifle, replaced later by the G3.
They are both in 7.62x51NATO caliber.

Swiss SIG SG 543 from the 540 series. It's got a 12" barrel and was one of the first assault rifles to incorporate three burst capability.

Steyr AUG A1

The swiss Steyr AUG is a so called "bullpup" rifle, and is made out of more synthetic material than most assault rifles.

The British Sterling L2A3 sub machine gun.
It's in 9x19mm and fires from open bolt.

A dutch license made UZI SMG. The original was designed by the israeli Uziel Gal, a well known weapon-designer, also known for the israeli Galil-rifles.
Caliber is 9x19mm and the silencer is a finnish B&R Reflex supressor.
The metal folding stock is a bitch to use. You can get a wooden replacement stock for better comfort and handling.

It didn't take long before the rather cheap scope internals came loose because of the recoil.

The Steyr AUG is based on a modular system where you can easily change barrel lenghts, reciever, trigger group etc.
